to support the homeless
and those at risk of homelessness

To provide those who are homeless or at risk of homelessness the resources they need to address their problems and rebuild their lives.


Please Note:  Due to COVID-19

supplies will be limited to "new"

general items and one size fits all

 apparel only.

There are no donation boxes this year due to COVID-19.  Money can be donated through our partner, the Athens Foundation (Click here). Choose "Athens Stand Down Fund" from the drop down menu when donating to ensure it reaches us.  We can then by items in bulk.

                 NO BUSES ALLOWED
Just a reminder that because of COVID-19, for our safety and for the safety of our participants, buses will NOT be accommodated and will NOT be able to participate in the Athens Stand Down event this year.

of "new" items we would like to

provide our attendees.

Drop off of the following donated items will be accepted on OCTOBER 4 & 5, 2022 at the Athens Area Fairgrounds at the white building over the hill from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 pm. each day.

Women's Gloves

Men's Gloves and Winter Socks

Hand Warmers

Toiletries - 3 in 1 body wash  shampoo/conditioner



Wet Wipes

Travel Size Laundry Detergent

First Aid Kits / Items - band-aids, antiseptic cream


Sleeping Supplies:


Flashlights (with batteries please)

Sleeping mats

Inflatable Travel Pillows

Above is a map of event flow. Enter/Exit and parking in the field as shown. Veterans park closest to the track. Non-veterans park furthest from the track. There will be people from OU ROTC to direct you.  Check in at the tents.  Only Veterans admitted 10am-12pm. Veterans and Public  admitted 12pm-2pm.
