Wish List

No donation is too small. How can you help?

What we’re able to provide at our Stand Down will depend greatly on the donations of community members like you. Please consider this a formal invitation to partake in this event. We welcome all levels of participation. Your support can come in whatever form you or your organization is most comfortable with – that may mean offering a donation, providing service information about your organization or business, volunteering, and anything in between.

Here is a list of some of the "new" items and services we’d like to provide. We are planning to serve 200 individuals on this day. You may have other ideas of what to provide, and we welcome your feedback.

PLEASE NOTE:  Due to COVID-19 supplies will be limited to "new" and one size fits all apparel items.  

Items Needed

​Items Requested in 2023:

  • 35 XL and Larger winter jackets

  • 45 Large/medium winter jackets

  • 100  3-in-one body wash

  • 150 hand warmers

  • 125 blankets

  • 155 towels

  • 30 pairs of men’s winter socks

  • 155 flashlights with batteries

  • 80 pairs of gloves

  • 155 first aid kits

  • 160 (6- load) laundry detergent

  • 150 toothpaste  full size

        

Please Note:  Due to COVID-19 supplies will be limited to "new" general items and some items will be one size fits all  apparel only.

We recommend that participants contact our service partners directly for these services.

Want to make a monetary donation?
Here's how:

Online:
Visit the Athens Foundation's Donation page for Athens Area Stand Down .  It should say  Athens Area Stand Down.  Follow the instructions. You may donate via PayPal or any major credit card.

Make sure the page says "Athens Area Stand Down" on it. 

By check:
Checks can be made out and mailed to The Athens Foundation with "Athens Area Stand Down" in the memo line.
